Shame...

This is a link that should direct you to a news coverage on a story about 20 high school seniors that weren't allowed inside their homecoming because their dresses were too "revealing."

I decided to choose this news segment because in a way, I believe that it does have something  to do with fashion. The reason why they weren't allowed in their own dance because their school teachers or who ever wouldn't let them in have no type of fashion sense. I am not going to lie, some of those dresses were short, but have they not been in the Dillards, Macy's, JC Penny's, or Belks junior dress department? The last time I checked, every dress was either long as Repunzel's hair or shorter than the dukes that Daisy sports. This to me hits me straight to the heart because I know how much a decent dress costs, especially when its one-of-a-kind. As you heard from the coverage, these people paid over $500 for the entire package for their daughters last homecoming dance. There is a lot that goes into this package: homecoming ticket $30, BCBG designer shoes $198, customized dress from boutique $700, hair $115, makeup $30, mani/pedi $40+, spending money for dinner before and after dance $60, being shut out your own senior homecoming dance after spending butt loads of your parents cash that they may or may not have PRICELESS.

I would be highly upset if I was one of them and I would ask for an apology like they did too. They owe those girls a dance or something back because of their as P.Diddy, Sean Combs, Puffy or whatever name he goes by now-a-days "bitchassness". Just because their parents may not have allowed them to wear dresses like that doesn't mean that they have to take their anger out on these poor girls. Especially if someone was wearing the SAME EXACT DRESS as one of them and was let in the dance. Thats some flaw behind shiz right there (trying to refrain from using profane language). These people are ALL in the wrong and they know this. Thats why they keeping their lips sealed and the news folks didn't hear anything from them. America, tell me what you think about this situation. I would be so pissed I wouldn't know what to do. Shoot, its making me upset as I continue to type. I think that it is time to bring this blog to an end because the "crunkness" is begining to come out and there are a  lot of red squiggly lines under a few of my "crunk" words. I guess these words are only in the goon dictionary, but thats fine because I do indeed own one. But that brings me to another tangent, but I am going to save this topic for my next blog followers. Thank you for taking time to read my post and I hope that you enjoyed what you took 10 minutes to read. More to come!

"The Beginning"

In the beginning, there was Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve had no clothes to cover their body what so ever. They roamed around the Earth in complete nude and that was acceptable back then. Things have changed a lot since the beginning of Earth and civilization as we know it now but that is fine. I am happy that the invention of clothes was created. It all started when Eve decided to be a goon and eat from the tree that God specifically said not to eat from. Then boom! we noticed that we were naked and flashing everyone and their farm animals, showing them "the goods". Clothes have come a long way and the fashion that was sported thousands of years ago is DEFINITELY not being sported now.

Fashion is constantly changing, practically every minute and when you think about it fashion is taking over the world. One store at a time. Designs are being created and dimolished as we sit here today reading my blog post and the people with the 'fabolous' creativity who make up these different ideas and puts them together are called designers. These designers could be called the 'fashionistas' if you so choose, but they are divas so you might want to check with them before you call them that.

Many celebrities have their own unique fashion sense and when you think of unique fashion everyone automatically thinks of Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga is very unique, I must say; From her music to the clothes (if you consider those garments she wears that) she wears to shows and red carpets. She is the go to person when people want to know what the latest crazy fashion design that has come out. We need Lady Gaga's in out lives because she makes things interesting on the red carpet when you're looking at whose dress was worn the best. It gets kind of boring looking at gown after gown saying "oooo! that's pretty!" or "ugh! someone need to slap that fashion designer". When Lady Gaga is on the scene you can't help but say "what the?!" But sometimes you need to have someone who wants to stand out and make a fool of them self, I'm just saying.

I love the fashion world. I love the creativity that's put into it and the male designers that always have me laughing my butt of on shows like "Project Runway" and "Hair show", they crack me up! Where would we be without clothing? What would our world be like if we didn't discover the needle and thread? I don't know about you but I wouldn't feel confortable walking around in my birthday suit. Fashion is growing and it is the one thing, other than technology, where last years must haves, are 3 years old. Its a fast pace world and if you can't keep up they will leave you behind like you never existed. Ask Ann Hathaway from the "Devil Wears Prada" she can tell you.
Well, "that's all"! (Emily Blunt from motion picture "Devil Wears Prada")
